Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator (CDWF).

The Daring Way™ is a highly experiential methodolgy based on the research of Dr. Brene Brown.  The method was developed to help men, women and adolescents learn how to show up, be seen and live braver lives.

Gaining my Level I certification in The Internal Family Systems Model (IFS).

This model was created by Dr. Richard Schwartz over the past 30 years. IFS is at the forefront of today's growing edge of psychotherapy in uniting elements of system's thinking, trauma therapy, mindfulness techniques, neuropsychology, and attachment theory.

Attending ongoing consultation at the DEEP Center for Counseling and Training.  

DEEP stands for Dynamic Enriched Experiential Psychotherapy;  a high quality, emotionally-connected therapy, based on leading-edge neuroscience.

Volunteer and member of the Speaker's Bureau for SafePlace Austin. 

I have been active in helping the community through education and outreach on sexual and domestic violence by offering presentations and professional trainings to a variety of audiences.

I began my counseling career as an eating disorders intake specialist under the supervision of New York based psychologists Dr. Judith Brisman and Dr. Michele Siegel, who specialize in the treatment of eating disorders and co-authored the book, Surviving an Eating Disorder, Strategies for Family and Friends.
